Bright Layers

Today it's all about clothes that technically don't fit anymore, but still finding a way to make it work.

{Shirt: Old Navy (similar), Cardigan: Ralph Lauren (old), Tank: Forever 21(old), Leggings: ON Maternity, Rain Boots: Hunters, Necklace: Bauble Bar, Bracelets: Alex and Ani, David Yurman}

This shirt absolutely does not button for me any longer. And I don't think this cardigan ever could. But in my desperation to find clothes to wear, I decided to just layer them and pretend they weren't meant to be buttoned. Throw a belt on for good measure and call it a day.

Bright colors are also my go-to during dreary winter days, especially right before a snowstorm. We got hit with about a foot of snow over the weekend (these pictures are pre-snow), so I'll be living in yoga pants and sweatshirts for awhile.

Also, I'm now officially in my 3rd trimester! Wahoo! We're getting closer and growing more excited each day!

WHAT?! THIRD TRI????!

Ok two thoughts- #1 what in the world. Sadly we haven't talked since your first tri and u were about to find out if it was a boy or girl :""""( Time flies too fast. #2 thought- why the heck do you look so good and u do NOT look like you're in your third. Probably because you are so pretty and cute. You're all belly and the most fashionable pregnant mama i have ever seen. I miss you girl.

3rd trimester..woot woot!! I was SO excited to get there myself. Now that I'm in the homestretch (37 weeks on Thursday) I'm just counting the days but praying he waits until after Christmas like he's supposed to. I'm also praying my winter coats will continue to zip up over my bump for the next few weeks. They are stretched to the limit already & I'm not about to buy a new one. (I'm also not opposed to wearing John's...)

You look great friend!

You look great. Shirts that don't button are a normal thing, so no one would think anything of it. I have an old shirt that shrunk, but I use it around the house when it's really cold. Even unbuttoned it helps...which I know you already know. :)

Be careful in the snow...your center of gravity is different. Don't be offended if hubby grabs your elbow to steady you (my wife didn;t like that).
