It Was Time

I finally gave in. I bought my first maternity shirt. I can still fit into some of my normal clothes, but I figured it was time I got a few basic maternity tops.

{Shirt: Old Navy Maternity, Cargo Vest: Old Navy (old), Leggings: Old Navy Maternity, Rain Boots: Hunters, Bag: Forever 21 (old), Necklace: Rire Boutique}

To be quite honest, I love this shirt. It definitely accentuates my belly more than my other clothes, but it's so comfy and right now, I'm really all about the comfort. Although I do have to say, it's getting harder and harder to get dressed every day!

I think nowadays maternity sections have plenty of choices and they are all so cute and stylish! I tell you Yi-Chia when I was pregnant finding a pair of maternity jeans was not easy let alone cute outfits like today. I'd get pregnant just to dress up, LOL! You my dear look radiant and pregnancy really agrees with you :)

I have the same shirt in the gray stripe. I looooove it too & you'll be happy to know I'm still easily sporting it at 32.5 weeks. I tried making my regular clothes work for as long as possible but I was slightly amazed at how much better I felt once I broke down & bought some maternity stuff. It's true that it's just made for the pregnant body. I definitely prefer the more form-fitting stuff than the loose flowy stuff. The flowy stuff just makes me feel large while the form-fitting (maternity) stuff just accentuates the bump so there's no question as to why I'm sporting the extra pounds. :-)

You look simply amazing friend!

Jen ♥ said...

PS - when (if) you start getting maternity pants/jeans...I've had a lot of luck at Old Navy but have found that Motherhood Maternity's pants/jeans are a tad more comfortable. The belly band in the MM ones aren't as tight but stay up just as well. They are a little pricier but when you're all about comfort...those few extra bucks go a long way.

Skylette from Sequins & Stilettos said...
