Happy July 4th!

Rockin' some red, white, and blue to celebrate the 4th of July this week!

{Shirt: Forever 21 (old), Skirt: J.Crew Factory, Shoes: J.Crew (old) (similar), Clutch: Target (old), Necklace: Etsy, Watch: Marc JacobsBracelets: David Yurman, Alex and Ani}

This white linen shirt is a bit too big on me. I'm not quite sure why I bought it in the first place... I think I was in desperate need of a white shirt, which are surprisingly hard to find. I've yet to find the perfect one. For this though, I decided to knot up the bottom to make it more fitting and what do you know, it worked.

I don't know if it's the heat, the crazy humidity, or just summer in general, but my days have really been thrown for a loop. I have no idea what day it is and I can't keep track of anything. Plus it feels like there is a small child on my head with my hair expanding with this weather. Am I the only one?!

On that note, sorry for the short week, but now I'm off for a long Holiday weekend. I'll be kickin' my feet up at Cape Cod with the family and looking for fireflies with my niece! I hope you all have a great weekend and see you next week!

Linking up with Laura.

Love your patriotism!! Your shirt doesn't look oversized, the way you styled it makes it look just right. And yes, I feel your "child sitting on head" pain, dumb humidity. It just ain't fair haha.

OMGosh, what a great childhood memory--catching fireflies! One summer we stalked firelies while dodging bats. Well, we thought we were dodging them. They were flying overhead in their search for bugs and we just happened to be there. But it made it more fun to pretend the bats were after us.

That's a lovely outfit and very appropriate. The anchors have a patriotic feel to them. I don't know if that's just because of the date, because I live near the Naval Academy, or just because. :)

Hope you have a great 4th with the family! Have fun and be safe.
