Today, I want everyone to meet one of my first blogger friends, Jessica, from Here & Now. We became blog buddies almost a year ago after we discovered our mutual love and adoration for bows. As Jessica says it, we go way back! And what's even more exciting is that she just got engaged a few days ago and I'm so happy for her!
Isn't Jessica adorable? I must confess that sometimes I make up imaginary scenarios where I finally meet some of my favorite blog friends and of course I have totally pictured me and Jessica meeting for coffee. Don't get creeped out guys, you know you do it too. So if we were to finally meet one day, I picture our conversation to go a little something like this...
Yi-chia: Hi Jess! I'm so happy I finally get to meet my favorite bow lover in person. First thing's first, show me that new shiny ring of yours! *shows me her engagement ring, we spend the next 15 minutes gushing over it.* So how are you and Ty?
Jessica: We're great! It's so much fun living with your best friend, but definitely way different than living with girls. Luckily, Ty lets me have free reign of the decorating process, as long as he has pillows he can actually use on the couch, and a place to kick his feet up. We're making the most of our current rental, while dreaming of the day we will have a place of our own. Now that we're engaged, be prepared to see lots of home decor pins along with a few wedding pins popping up here and there!
Yi-chia: Can't wait for you to start planning your wedding! Let's talk fashion. I love that you did the 30x30 challenge. I'm not sure I can bring myself to do it. I feel like my other clothes would get lonely and jealous. How do you stay motivated?
Jessica: I love the idea of a 30X30 challenge! I get into outfit ruts where I find something that works and I wear it day after day. The 30X30 really forces you to change up your outfit styling and makes you love your entire closet that much more when you get to use the other 90% of it after the challenge is over.
Yi-chia: I know that if I were to do this challenge, I'll find that one item that I didn't include and just be dying to wear it. I'm weird like that and not at all as committed as you. But anyway, onto more important things... you recently changed your hair color to red. You look amazing with red hair. I've been dying to know... is it true that red heads have more fun?!
Jessica: Red heads spend more time at the salon is what I am learning! Ha! This was my first time venturing into the world of hair dye, and I have to say I am pretty obsessed with my more gingery locks! I think I would have fun no matter what my hair color, but it is pretty awesome catching my reflection and thinking oh, that's different! Just like my attitude glasses, it is a spicy way to kick my daily uniform up a notch!
Yi-chia: So that means yes. Red heads have more fun, let's be honest here. And plus, you got engaged while as a red head. Yay!
Ok, now that I'm done having imaginary convos with myself, Jessica is here with a giveaway. She is giving away $50 to J.Crew! Awesome, right? Who doesn't want to go shopping at J.Crew?!
a Rafflecopter giveaway
Thanks Jessica for letting me pretend that we are real life friends instead of just blog buddies! I hope everyone loves Jessica as much as I do, now go visit her blog!
