And now for some fun facts you never thought you wanted to know about me.
1. When I was young I wanted to play the flute. Apparently I was terrible at it. I hyperventilated at every attempt, so much so that eventually the instructor said, "hmm, maybe we should try the piano instead". Now that's pathetic. My dad likes to tell people that story, so I figured I would just tell it for him.
2. When I was 3 my cousin tried to convince me to eat ants. He said he was conducting an experiment to see if eating ants causes death. I was so proud that I didn't fall for his tricks! Until recently, my mom told me that I did in fact, eat one. Well, the good news is, eating ants do not cause death.
3. I had a strict curfew of 11pm until I moved out of my parents house at the age of 23. My friends even tried convincing my dad to extend it when we were high school. He just laughed and said no. Oh dad!
Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

love the colors of your shirt! I wanted to play the flute too! but missed the band sign ups and there were too many flute players so I ended up playing the trumpet!
I love the blue heels, and so brave in the snow too! Facts of why we are blog soul mates. I played the flute, I would do anything my brother told me to when I was little like eat dog food, and my dad said if I wasn't hone by midnight he was calling the cops. Love you!
You know my parents were the same when I was younger. Thank God I was a social pariah that the curfew didn't matter anyway:D
And I agree with the portable steamer idea.
I hate when clothes wrinkle, too (and ironing takes too much effort, of course!) I'm 23 and still live at home- plan to move out soon, but I'm glad I'm not alone! haha
a portable steamer is such a fantastic idea!!
I didn't do well with the flute either...Ha ha!

Yes there are portable steamers. I almost bought one by Shark not too long ago. I think normally it was around $70 but it was on sale for $10 (must have been a mistake because they fixed that fast) and I didn't buy it, like a moron. Anyway, check Amazon.com. You still cute though!

I can't tell that the shirt is too wrinkled! You should try those wrinkle-release sprays, they work! A lot of my guy friends in college used to use it when they were lazy haha.
I used to play the flute in middle school but I wish I kept up with my piano skills :(

There are portable steamers! We have them for photo shoots and they work awesome–I'm not sure if they'll fit in your purse, but definitely your car! And I always had the biggest instrument fits when I was younger. I learned to play the piano at five and I absolutely HATED going to lessons, so my mom decided to teach me herself–which caused even more fights. Luckily now, I'm good and love playing, so I guess it all worked out!

I think I have the same top but in a different color and yes it drives me nuts that it wrinkles so easily too. Yi-chia if you invent this portal steamer that doesn't burn - you would be a millionaire (or maybe you already are).

Oh those pesky wrinkles. I know what you mean. I have a couple of those shirts in my closet. I think that's why I stay away from Linen since it wrinkles so easily.
Great outfit Yi-Chia. Your jeans fit you so well and the blue shoes are so pretty!
Hhaha those stories you posted are so cute! Thanks for sharing! xoxo, Phoebe
Ugh I have a couple shirts like that, I hate wrinkles so it really bothers me too! Hahaha I totally laughed at your flute story, I have a somewhat similar story; I really wanted to play soccer when I was five, so my parents enrolled me and I hated it. I would stand on the field and just hope that someone would pass me the ball. It's one of my dad's favorite stories to tell because I was just so awful at it! Thankfully I was born a swimmer so my soccer stint was quite short! Hope you have a great Friday!

Love your blouse! So cute, a lot of my blouses get wrinkly so easily too. I iron them, go into my car to drive to work, and its wrinkly again. sigh.

lol... I love these facts about you! I'm very happy you lived to share your funny stories and lovely outfits with us.
I need a portable steamer for when I wear linen. How some people manage to stay so well pressed is beyond me. Maybe they just don't move.
When I was little my sister and used a metal ruler to kill (or more like decapitate) the ants that would come through the crack and into our kitchen. I still hate ants but luckily I haven't had to kill any recently.
It's still an adorable top, sans steamer! Love the fun facts. Thanks for sharing! xo, Julie
Ha! I played the flute and my teacher told me to try something non-musical because I couldn't read music without writing the letters above the notes. We would have been a great flute duo!
I love the top and can't tell it's wrinkly at all! :)

I love the colour of your pumps! I must agree, I'm not a fan of tops that wrinkle easily, I feel I have to always iron them every time I wear them. A portal steamer or iron would definitely be a great invention haha!
Ah I played the piano for quite some time, for around 8 years when I was younger, though I have completely stopped it. I have had thoughts of picking it up again though!

Some people seem to create their own humidity, but I guess that's not a steamer. :)
As for me wrinkling clothes is one of my useless super powers, ironing is almost a waste of time.
Once I started working during high school, I don't think my parents we3re ever sure if I was home or not (and our house was tiny). But they were tired after dealing with the 5 older kids.
I'm glad it wasn't a biting/stinging ant, handling one could have have hurt. You were just a little over eager with the flute. How did the piano lessons work out?
Happy Ground Hog Day!
Yi-chia, I know exactly where you're coming from on the curfew thing. I'm 22 and still live at home. My mom is calling me by 11 if I'm not home yet, just to let me know that it's getting late and maybe I should come home soon. The poor thing can't sleep well until I'm safe and sound at home. I tell her all the time, "What are you gonna do when I move out soon?" She's like, "Ojo que no ve, corazon que no siente." Which roughly translates to "out of sight, out of mind".
I like these random facts about you! Very entertaining. Keep 'em coming!
Oh, also... Your heels are fantastic! I never get shoe lucky at Forever 21. They seem to run out of 6's as soon as they stock their shelves. It's so frustrating!

I have to say, that is one thing that I really hate about old navy shirts. They do wrinkle like crazy and even after ironing, they seem to be permantly wrinkled after the first washing. (It's gotten to where I'll only buy denim or sweaters at old navy, wrinkles drive me crazy!) That said, the print on this shirt is really adorable and the bright color looks so pretty on you!

Love the color of your shoes! Love your facts, haha!
