My husband and I are going out to dinner for Valentine's Day, which is usually the extent of our celebration. We are both not really Valentine's Day people, even though I am into all things girly and love related. I'm not sure why, but I've never been into this day. I think it's because when I was young, my dad told me that when you find the right person, every day is Valentine's Day. I've always believed in that. We don't need a holiday to know how much we love each other or to give us reasons to celebrate each other. With that being said though, I still better get a card (are you reading this husband)!

Love your dad's words of wisdom! So true!! My husband proposed on February 7th so every year we celebrate the anniversary of the proposal and kind of toss Valentine's Day in with it. I'm not anti-Valentine's day by any means, but I'd rather celebrate days that were special to us (like when he proposed, when we started dating, and obviously our wedding anniversary). :) Hope you guys enjoy your dinner out!

This week I am ALL about Valentine's Day this week! Which is somewhat strange since I am not a huge Valentine's Day person, the boyfriend and I are just going out to dinner due to school schedules.

That saying is true, when you are with the person you are meant to be with then everyday is like Valentines Day! I'm with you on that I love all things hearts and flowers but we aren't as brave as you guys, we do not venture out despite the fact we love to eat out. The crowds and the prices turn me off. The hubby usually attempts to cook and that is the best part b/c it's so cute...he is amazing with a lot of things but not cooking. I love his effort :-)
