Keeping It Simple
Snowy, cold days make me want to dress simply and comfortably.
It snowed here again this past weekend and I think there is more coming this weekend. I am so ready for Spring! Sometimes it can be hard to dress cute and fashionable when it's gross outside or when I'm in a hurry to go shopping run errands (or both). That's when I remember that there are times when less is more. Days like this is when I go for simplicity and that's okay.

OH my gosh we are getting our first "blizzard" tomorrow in Lawrence! I am already wearing sweats and beanies to stay warm. Our wonderful chancellor isn't going to cancel school she said (we are supposed to get 8 inches AND ICE)so I am dreading having to dress up and look decent!

I was so frustrated by the snow. We stayed overnight to go to the Chinese New Year parade, but decided to drive home instead when we saw the temperatures and blowing snow. We did have time to visit Lexington. I look forward to coming back in the spring.

I am usually a casual dresser. I am most likely found to be in jeans and a sweater (even in florida's heat) or a blouse.
It's rainy/snowy where I am today too. I kind of have a rain uniform - a simple black dress with my black rain boots. It's almost kind of nice knowing automatically what I will wear when the weather is gross!
I couldn't have put it better myself! I'm always in a simple outfit to run errands, I find it's a bit more practical and much comfier. I love your striped sweater (I honestly have a problem with stripes)!

I'm always a little scared when I do especially simple outfits on my blog (though my style as a whole is very simple), but I always like them best on other people's blogs, so I probably shouldn't feel that way. I love this outfit, the sweater is super cute.
I dress "simply" pretty much always. Mostly because I wake up at 5:45am and am out the door by 6:10am. Not just a lot of time to pick out cute outfits for the day.
