I spent 3 days sitting at home doing a whole lot of nothing. There was a driving ban on the state, so we weren't allowed to leave the house, not that there was anywhere to go. As a result, I spent countless hours on my phone and playing with my new iphone case from iconemesis. They work with amazing artists to create gorgeous cases like this one. It takes a lot for me to switch cases, but this one is just too cute!
And I think I drank 5 cups of coffee a day just out of sheer boredom. I tried to read a book, but instead I ended up watching too much reality TV. My poor husband spent about 3-4 hours snow blowing our driveway and walkway. We didn't lose power, so that was a plus. I would have lost my mind if I was stuck at home with no TV to watch!
What do you do during snowstorms?
Now time for this week's Friday Love-It Notes:
1. Giving my niece her first red envelope for Chinese New Year. She sort of just looked at me with eyes that said "can I eat this?"... one day she'll learn to love those envelopes!
2. The Walking Dead is back on TV!
3. Coming home from a long day at work to find this Valentine's Day surprise from my husband. He sure knows the way to my heart!

So much snow! That reminds me of the blizzard in 2010 when I lived in Pittsburgh. It was only about 12 inches, but my power went out and it got down to 40 degrees in my apartment. We used to always go sledding on our driveway after my dad plowed! But my favourite thing to do if the conditions were right, was to go for a horseback ride! It's so much fun in the snow, it's like you're floating.
