There are days when I try to be daring and put things together that I normally wouldn't put together... and then outfits like this are born.
{Sweater: Forever 21 (old), Skirt: Forever 21 (old), Boots: BCBG (old), Scarf: Madewell (old), Tights: Target, Belt: Target, Bracelets: David Yurman, t+j Designs}
You all know from this post that this year is my first time wearing colored tights since the age of 7, so the thought of mixing it with other bold colors was rather daunting... but I wanted to go outside of my comfort zone a bit. I think it paid off, somehow the colors all work together. What do you think? Is this a hot mess or does it work?
In other unrelated news, in my recent post about how my husband and I met, a lot of you commented and asked about that wii he oh so happily promised me. I guess I had left out what ever happened to that promise. Well, no, he never bought me a wii. It wasn't until years later when we got engaged that his mom bought one for us as a Christmas gift... by then the whole family knew that I totally deserved to finally get that wii!

I've been feeling really challenged by my tights that are around the same color. I ended up wearing them with a chambray shirt dress over the weekend (and of course I didn't get pics). I think I'll try them with a cobalt blue dress next!

I with you on the colored tights, I was really timid about wearing them last year but this year I'm going for it! Yay for crazy tights! I love the reddish tights with the blue skirt, it's gorgeous and the bright yellow top just brightens up the whole outfit.
