First This Season
This is the first time I'm wearing boots this season. Part of me is sad for my toes being so constricted, the other part of me is happy because... well, boots are just so darn cute!
This dress actually has no shape and it pretty much forces me to wear a belt with it every time, which is fine. Because I love belts. Don't ask me how many belts I own. I remember when I was younger I hated wearing belts. I thought it was awkward. After my last few posts about my love for my denim jacket and corduroy skirt, I've come to realize that everything I once thought was awkward back in the day is now cool. Or maybe I'm just awkward now? Who knows. Happy shopping!

I love this whole outfit--those boots are adorable! I always laugh at what a funny adjustment it is to go from sandals to boots and closed-toe shoes come fall. My feet need to get used to it again!

Not awkward at all! I totally love that dress, and I think it looks great with the belt. Yea for boot weather!
I find a lot of belts awkward. I had to go to Paris to have a shoplady put the right belt on me, one that flattered my figure. These are good boots, I find that so many boots, especially the wedge platform boots that I see in shops this season, make my dainty feet look HUGE!
I can't wait to start wearing boots! The mornings here in Kansas are cool enough for them but by the middle of the day I am sweating!

No, it's definitely all back in. I love belts too, but I don't own enough of them.
I should let you know that for the next few months I'm going to be a little green with envy of not just you, but every other blogger out there with all 4 seasons. Your super cute fall looks would make me look plain weird down here. Plus I'd be sweating profusely all the time. Not fun. By late October, maybe November we'll start to feel some chilly weather though. Until then, I will live vicariously through you and all my other fashion friends up north.

These short booties make your legs look so long and luscious! Like, like, love! And can I tell you how I have a theory that my toes are claustrophobic? Because I do...and I hate wearing shoes if it does not risk my life (ie lava rocks, more than 3 ft of snow, or 100+ degree pavement)

I have only recently just been looking at belts! Im not that much of a belt person, possibly because a lot of the items I wear, I don't feel the need to wear one. When I do, I just go to the stash my sister has hanging up on her wall! I think I've only just realised how much they can change an outfit!
